In light of the Coronavirus outbreak within the UK we think it is extremely important to pass on the following information about washing your hands regularly. This is, at present, what is advised by the government and the Department of Health & Social Care in order to help prevent the spreading of viruses.
Washing your hands is the first defence in not getting sick and not spreading germs. Many diseases are spread by others not washing their hands with soap and water. Germs can transfer from anything that we can touch. Therefore, if someone who has not washed their hands after using the toilet and touches a door handle and you touch the same door handle then you could have picked up the germs that were left by the other person.
